Band to Join.

Looking for something different, not too serious, jam to start and see what happens. Open to guitar or bass, would not mind starting with one or two people, finding a sound, and then adding more instruments - people in an organic way. I have spent time in a folk trio and a 50's Rock / Country Band, and would like to explore something else on the side. I am over 50, and located in central Dutchess county, not too far from western Conn.

Dead, Beatles, Neil Young, Lou Reed, a variety of classic rock, tending towards prog. (Pink Floyd, Genesis, etc.). And a little pop, a little country and a little Motown. Pretty much anything.

Main instruments: Fender j-bass, p-bass and Kingman AE bass, Epi LP + SG400 (3 pick up version), Ovation AE 6 and 12 string, Deering 5 string banjo. Jay Turser 5 string bass (P/J) also good sound), Strat copy (upgraded pup). Variety of effects.
Amp: Guitar: range of amps, smallest is Roland Cube, largest is Marshall AVT 150 into 2 1X12 cabs with Eminence. Bass: Ampeg PF50t, in Ampeg 2X12 DD12 cab, 180W combo that moves air pretty well, also a small practice amp for folk use. Also have small PA system with powered monitors suitable for practice or small shows.
