ABOUT

Looking for an over-qualified keyboardist and rhythm guitar player to record and play original songs somewhat in the vein of Sheryl Crow/Tom Petty/Counting Crows/Jakob Dylan. I assume you have limited time on your hands as do I. I'm a former professional musician and recording engineer (Berklee grad) and I have original songs you might like ( https://robashcom.bandcamp.com/releases for example), a semi-pro studio in my house, and a good rhythm section. We love playing. Join us.

Influences

Blues, Southern Rock, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, CSN, and from more recent times: Sheryl Crow, Tom Petty, Sarah McLachlan, Shawn Colvin, Bush, Radiohead.

Members Of Band

Currently I sing and play lead guitar, bass player also sings, drummer drums, percussionist also sings. Just lost our keyboardist to Seattle.

Currently we operate as a trio/quartet (the percussionist is less available) and can't reproduce live a lot of good parts from my songs. So eventually, the lineup would be the classic 70's thing with 2 gtrs, bass, keyboards, drums, + percussion. Not sure how we'll fit in the studio at that point but it's a good problem to have.

EQUIPMENT

Guitars from a Gibson ES-125t to a Fullerton biscuit resonator, P-bass, mandolin, uke, and a banjo. Classic amps and modeling amps (and a newish Ampeg bass amp BTW). Garage is a recording studio & a well-treated room to play in. Reasonable mic collection. Drumset. PA. 2 keyboards: Roland D-50 synth and Korg weighted key keyboard. Monitoring through Yamaha NS-10s and KRK VX8s. 8 channels of digital I/O.
