I am a self-taught drummer. I have been playing for about 4 years. Drumming is my instrument of choice. But I've also played violin since 4th grade and guitar for about 6 years (nothing special).

I learned to play by listening and playing along with songs by the artists listed above, among others. I am a fan of off-beat hi-hat and making the drums an integral part of the band sound. I play a lot of ghost notes.
EQUIPMENT
5 piece kit, 13" Zildjian hi-hats, 20" Meinl ride/crash, 14" Wuhan china, and all necessary hardware. Working on getting bigger hi-hats, alternate crashes and a couple of splashes.
I have no amplification devices (microphones/amps)
