Robert Andrew Wagner

Vocalist, Violin, Cello.

I am a performing songwriter. You probably haven’t heard of me, but I currently have eleven albums available at iTunes/Apple Music, Amazon, etc., and those who know of my work tend to think highly of it. Do a search for The Little Wretches and see and hear for yourself.

I am seeking a singer to perform with me, a Joan Baez to my Dylan, an Emmylou Harris to my Gram Parsons, an Exene to my John Doe.

I play ORIGINAL music. I play covers for context, color and fun, but I play ORIGINAL MUSIC.

There is not a lot of money in it, but whatever I earn is divided equally among the performers.

Whoever sings and plays with me needs to have an almost religious/fanatic conviction (or be so phenomenally talented and gifted that you don’t need to).

I have enough of a voice to deliver my songs. Whoever sings with me must have a beautiful voice, excellent pitch, a vast musical vocabulary, and a natural affinity for harmony. Professionally, you must be indomitably reliable. You’d probably sing “lead” on 1/3 or 1/4 of the songs.

My goal is to play folk clubs, acoustic venues, house-concerts and wherever I am invited. My goal is to wake up in the morning, thinking about where I am playing tonight.

I do, of course, have a “day job.” I teach English and Language Arts at a school for at-risk teens.

I currently live in Perkiomenville, but my hometown is Pittsburgh.

If you can imagine yourself doing working with me, please contact me. If I contact YOU and this is not your cup of tea, please politely reply, “Not interested.”
