Band to Join.ABOUT
I am a 43 year old Bass player / Back up vocalist seeking a cover band who plays paying gigs on Friday and Saturday nights.
Ive already done the "industry" thing and have no interest in going through that again. My band "Imaginary Bill", a 3-piece Alt / indie rock band had marginal success from 99' to 2005, playing mostly in the New York City area, but also traveling to Toronto and Cincinnati annually for music conferences. We produced 2 well received albums and made it to the finals in the AMA Top 10 Unsigned Bands competition Sponsored by Coca Cola in 2002.
I left the Band in 2005 to concentrate on my growing family but reunited with them a couple years later under "looser", "not trying to make it" conditions.
We still get together once or twice a month in Brooklyn to play and write.
