My name is Robert Stevens I just moved to Columbia from Tucson,AZ where I was in a small three piece band. In the band I was the lead singer and Acoustic Guitar Player. I moved back this way after my wife and I got married in December because she goes to USC. Being that this is alot closer to Nasville than Arizona was i want to get another band together to start playing here. I am looking for only the most committed Muscians who are interested in playing gigs, recording,and taking trips to Nashville once we have established ourselves as a band in Columbia and surroundin areas. I want people who are willing to take this seriously and are willing to stay in for the long haul so that we can get to know eachother and grow together as a band building off of eachothers playing styles until we end up with something original. I have won multiple singing contests in Arizona allowing me to open for main acts at concerts. Most recently I was in a televised contest called lucky break in Tucson, Thanks to that contest My Band and I gained a good following in the month before I moved to SC. I have been singing since I was 8 and started out in church. Being a professional artist have been my dream since before that. I am looking for people who hold this similar goal. I am willing to give it all I've got and hope you are too! I already have a few connecions in town that im working with to get a Bose L1 sound system from by next December which has a Bass Amp, with a 26 tweeter speaker stack. I have met a few people who are willing to introduce me to some venues and help us get in as soon as I have a band. So if you are interested in being in a Country band and are looking for something more serious, Then I am waiting to hear from you! Im looking to play a mix of Classic Country, Contemorary Country with our own spin on it, as well as originals that I have written, and any that you may have. Lets get this thing started!
