so many - across the spectrum of American music - rock, roots, bluegrass & jazz. I'm always moving in and out of a different focus - I played in rock cover / jam bands, moved out West and played in groups that ranged from Blues / New Orleans Funk to Bluegrass. I've always related to singers, songs & their stories. The best music I've played is within the context of unique songs, creative musicians and harmonies - I'm moved by a solid rhythm section and dynamics - that's where I live
