I love all types of music, but I lean more toward oldies and alternative. I'm lead singer and rhythm guitarist in a cover band that plays music from the 50's to today. We pretty much play whatever we like. I'm also a radio dj for KWSS 93.9 FM and KOWO 99.1 FM in the Phoenix area. We are looking for a lead guitar player that can and will (Some can and won't lol) sing backup. If you like doing the lead vocals on some songs, that's even better. We are a 99.999932% drama free band. Nobody's perfect. Lol. We play for the love of playing. We love playing in front of an audience, but we'd do this even if there wasn't an audience. We love getting paid to play, but we love helping out good causes. We work hard at knowing the material and being tight as a band, but we love just jamming on a song we've never played before just because someone requested it because it has a special meaning. The people light up and feel so special, even if we don't do it right. Music is about spreading joy and happiness, not about being technically perfect and having no soul.
