I have been singing and performing just about as long as I can remember. I was playing in bars when I was 15 and sneaking in through the back door to get to the stage. I've done it all, play live, studio work (both original and cover). I have a very strong stage presence and know how to work an audience. I've jammed with and played in front of bigger names, etc. I have a very, very strong voice, superior range and mastery of many different vocal styles / genres. I can swing from Brian Johnson to Freddy Mercury back to back. That's always been one of my strongest traits I think ... diversity. I still kick ass and deliver a top flight, energetic performance every time. I'm very easy to get along with, fun to be around but firm in my convictions when I'm in a band. I'm not the stereotypical tyrant or prima donna lead singer. I like to get my hands dirty and participate from load up/in, set up to tear down, marketing, etc. My expectation levels are high for the musicianship of my band mates. I tend to gravitate towards 3 piece bands where musicians often wear many different hats and where you can achieve that incredible tightness but I'd really like to play in a 2 guitar band this time around if at all possible. I love heavy, riff driven rock with great melodic and powerful vocals. So if you can't run with the big dogs, get your ass off the porch. I can put my money where my mouth is when it comes to singing and performing live ... as long as you can do the same with your instrument we'll get along just fine.
