Enjoy playing rock - especially 80s stuff - you know the epic hair band era, which also included some great bands including VH, Crue, GnR, not to mention the MTV era which produced so many great bands over the years. Of course the classics like floyd, who, etc., the arena rock groups. I know a ton of songs. I'm looking for a group of guys that want to play with pride and produce a great sounding and looking project. It doesn't have to be perfect, but dressing the part - not to the hilt, but add some leather, a rough look and not show up at a gig with shorts and a baseball cap - looking like a big dork - you know?
Bands: 60 Cycle Hum 1980 - 2010
Dramatica: 2009 - 2011
High Five Motor Drive - 2010 & 2011
Earl Brown's Eruption - 2010 - 2014
Chrome - 2010 & 2011
Haymaker - 2011 & 2012
I've played probably every venue in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco County. Even got as far east as Boot Hill Saloon for several gigs.
I'm looking for a band that I can pretty much walk into with minimal practice. Getting too old for that crap - been there, done that over and over again. If you have a group of really good musicians, you can pretty much play a show off the cuff.
So, yeah, something that sounds good, minimal practice maybe gig once or twice a month. Ideal would be playing in places that have house PAs as lugging equipment all the time sux. LOL
