ABOUT

What's happening out there in these trying times of COVID-19 people? Been keeping safe and COVID free since March 2020.

At this time, I decided to go into radio. I will have a blues based, Funky, Soulful and Rockin' show on WLCB out of Slades Corner WI...

The station can only be dialed in locally at 101.5 FM. It can be streamed worldwide on the Radio Garden App or TuneIn App > Search WLCB... Crossing Genres is the shows name because every set is a different Genre... Blues, Soul, Classic Rock, Reggae, Song Writer tunes, New Wave-ish, Punk and Hard Rock at times!!

Every Sunday night from 6:00 pm CST to 8:00 pm CST. Tune in, Rock out and hear music you may not have heard before... "You won't believe your ears"

If the right opportunity comes up with the right bunch of musicians, I am open for a try out with a band from the Lake County area.

My vocal range, I found out recently... is not the folk, acoustic guitar type. Tried it and was not personally happy with the outcome. Just couldn't let the vocals rip...

Met a Guitar player with over 100 originals and it was cool as I was able to create the words for a couple of his original songs. They turned out pretty good. However, they would be better with a different type of singer.

Was the Lead Singer of Stage Fright out of Kenosha and played around Southeastern Wisconsin and Lake County IL for about 4 1/2 years (2010-2014). Unfortunately, our Bass player lost his battle with Cancer in early 2015.

Stage Fright rocked what we called an Acid Blues Edge to our cover tunes and originals.

Some of our cover songs: Foxey Lady, I Got a Line on You, I Drink Alone, Sweet Home Chicago, Born to be Wild, Paranoid, Mississippi Queen, I Just Wanna Make Love to You, Stepping Stone, Politician, Tush, Red House, Hoochie Coochie Man, Rock Me Baby, Honky Tonk Women, Jumpin Jack Flash and (9) Blues Rock Originals.

EQUIPMENT

Shure Wireless Microphone System and some stragglers. A very projecting, bluesy voice I have and can sing it in my own style... Can do heavy rock, classic rock and any type of bluesy in a rock and roll sort of way.

Alright, I have been on band tryouts (prior to Stagefright) and they expected me to sound exactly like the artist... I told them that I was not an impressionist, but what I can do for you is my version of the songs. (Stagefright wanted that and my vocals worked very well with the songs we performed).
