In general (seeking):
An established mixed rock, classic rock, and alternative/modern rock band that needs an additional vocalist/guitarist and perhaps add some harmonica on a couple songs. It would be nice to find a group with some musical background that really enjoy making the music their own (...and better) and fully utilize dynamics to allow the focus of each song to be on the key elements (vocals, guitar solo, bass riff, etc.). Having a volume war, overplaying, and oversinging is not desired.

On vocals - I would like to sing lead some, sing some spot-on backup vocals, and perhaps even put the guitar down on occasion and just sing and get a crowd into the music.

On guitar - I'm looking to play with another guitarist/singer to share in a rhythm/lead role. Willing to put the guitar down if the occasion and song warrants it and willing to play the big solo when called for.

I like to keep a nice mix of high energy rock and alternative songs in my band setlists. My acoustic set lists are usually more laid back.

EQUIPMENT

For band - JBL EON 515XT speakers, dbx driverack loudspeaker management processors, several JBL EON monitors, mackie mixer, POSSE in-ear monitoring system, Shure in-ear monitors, Audio OM-7 mics, Shure SM Mics, various processors, lights [par cans, laser light], etc.

Practice Space: I have a mini-studio with Yahama DTXTREME III Special E-drums, Soundcraft mixer with direct outs (for recording), M-Audio A/D interface, Sonar X1 Producer software, DI boxes, and a headphone distrubution system for recording and practices.

For vocals - In addition to the full PA, I utilize a TC Helicon VoiceLive 2 pedal for FX at my feet and for backup vocals (based upon guitar input) when backups are not available.
