I'm a decent guitar player, and I can learn pretty much any song within a day or two (and play it well enough for a band setting). I'm just getting back in to playing electric (for 6 months now) after 20 years off. Currently taking lessons from Paul Gilbert to get my chops back. I have a pretty good repertoire of songs that I know, but I haven't played in a band setting for 20 years. I'm really interested in meeting some casual but professional musicians to do a project with - nothing too serious, but serious enough to start playing some gigs. Most important is that I want to have fun with the people I play music with. I have a good sized practice studio at home and just need some friends to start jamming with. Check out the Purple Haze cover track. I did this in 1995(?).
