We have been a full time cover band for the last three years, which has taken us from bars and pubs to casinos as far as Nevada all the way to Iowa; as well as, a cruise gig on the Caribbean Seas. We focus on party music for the better paying clubs/bars, and listening music for the casinos. So we play anything in the range of Lady Gaga to Black Eye Peas to Afrojack to KC and the Sunshine Band to Pat Benatar to Jimmy Buffet to The Cure. Our band of three years split into two a few months back due to drama inspiring "extracurricular" activities of a member. And the two replacement members have their own "extracurricular" activities that don't jive with our musical aspirations. So we are moving to SA in January to work as we build a new band to go on the road and do the casino circuit again (avg. pay is $600-$800 per member per week after expenses for 3-4 nights of 3-4 sets a night). We need a tasteful guitar player that can sing lead part time, and a tasteful bass player with vocal abilities as well. No unnecessary showboating needed. Absolutely no drugs! No alcohol or 420 in our band van, no alcohol onstage during casino gigs, or before 3rd set at bar gigs (for those that drink too much). We have over 1000 performances (3-6 sets) under our belt.
