Roma Ransom formed 3 years ago when two lovebirds, Gordon and Grace, started busking in downtown Springfield Missouri. The couple quickly took their music on the road, performing as far as the West Coast, up to Northern Minnesota, all the way down to New Mexico, and everywhere in-between. On their journey they landed steady gigs and stayed busy by performing for private parties and events in their off time.
Now Roma Ransom is based out of Colorado Springs where they teach private music lessons, play gigs at local venues, and perform for private events! With constant positive feed-back, Gordon and Grace, continue to do what they love.
Roma Ransom’s influences range from Django Reindhardt to Woody Guthrie. Roma Ransom loves to play music inspired from ancient tunes selected from different cultures of the world. Roma Ransom performs music of the world. The best way to understand their unique style is to listen to a track.
