Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Drums, Trumpet, Keyboard, Piano, Upright bass, Clarinet.

I’m an experienced singer songwriter who’s had hits overseas in the folk/country genre. I'm currently interested in doing Great American Songbook standards. I've got a couple of years of music school under my belt (as well as more than a few cheeseburgers). I’d like to do restaurant and small club gigs with piano bass drums or some combination - who are honest, subtle and have a sense of humor. The important thing is finding the groove and playing well together. I don't need to be the front man or band leader or dictate the set list. My plan is to record a few songs and use them to get gigs. Below are a few I’m currently working on. Please contact me if you'd like to rehearse or spend an afternoon seeing if we could play together. I'll upload a couple of videos of me (blue shirt) and my songwriter buddy, Steve, playing at Strange Brew.

Songs: Almost Like Being In Love, Fly Me To The Moon, Here's That Rainy Day, I Fall In Love Too Easily, My Romance, Pennies From Heaven, There Will Never Be Another You, They Can't Take That Away From Me, What A Wonderful World, You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To.

Currently listening to a lot of Chet Baker, Paul Desmond, Jim Hall and Bill Evans. There are many others. Also, I'm not a jazz snob and love many blues players. Townes Van Zandt was my favorite songwriter. The important thing is playing with soul.
