Drumming for over 55 years in mostly rock, southern rock, blues, r&b, and some jazz and country. Toured and recorded with regionally successful bands in the 70's and early 80's(Bill Chinnock band(Atlantic records and North Country records) Peter Gallway Revue(Imagination records, Los Angeles). Discontinued playing to become a teacher in LA schools. Retired in 2011 and resumed focus on music. Currently play in house band at CSL center, AVL and Chicomo, local marimba band. Would like to play more jazz/fusion.. In Los Angeles,I organized and played in several traditional West African drumming groups.
