JOIN OUR BAND(BASS AND GUITAR NEEDED)
We are a new rock project in the north chicago area(polaski and lake street)
We are looking for a SERIOUS BASSIST, and maybe another GUITARIST. Also we do have a singer but our pa is in the shop so we will try to post recordings soon with vocals. These recordings are only after 3 full rehearsals, we know they are not the tightest yet. Nothing is set in stone and if you join this band your opinions will matter. You will also have alot of creative room. We are not even considering a band name until all members can voice a opinion.
Please read this carefully before you call. Understand We are not trying to come off as jerks but we are serious and these are our minimum requirements for you to be considered.
1.You must be able to rehearse at least 3 times a week for 3- 5hours a jam. And when shows get close up to 5 rehearsals a week.
2.You must be ready to tour NATIONALLY and possibly for very little money at first. It takes time to make real cash. If you can not drop everything on a dime and go on tour we DO NOT WANT YOU no matter how good you may be.
3.You must have good equipment(no squires)
4.Harmony vocals a huge plus as well as lead. We are open minded to having more then one lead vocalist.
5. You must be able to contribute to the band rental space,(not alot when split 3 or four ways)
6. This band does not work with egos, we have fun and everyones opinion is valued. We are very open about telling eachother when we mess up and when things are working or not working, you must be mature enough to handle constructive criticism.
7.This is our carear choice not a hobby, so it should not be just a hobby for you.
8.You MUST be between the ages of 17-30(we are 24 and 26)
9.We are open to males OR females
10.This band rehearses regularly with a metrenome. If you have a problem with that or you do not know what one is DO NOT CALL US.
11. OUR DRUMMER IS BLIND! If that is a problem, again we do not want you.
12.You must also be willing to help with the promotion of the band.
