Guitar player looking to join or form a band to play danceable classic rock, but open to other ideas with the right people.
I really like trading solos with a second guitarist, and I spent a couple years learning fretless bass and a few years playing piano. If we find the right people I wouldn't mind trading instruments once in a while to keep things interesting.
If we're forming something new....I want to do it right and focus on the strengths of our singer(s). Bring your best material and we'll put together something special, gig around once a month.
As a starting point, I'm thinking both male and female lead vocals would be ideal, a second lead guitar player, and/or a keyboard player who can solo, and a rhythm section that grooves. Open to other ideas, let's just get the foundation together and then fill in the gaps.
One last comment...I'm really not a fan of watching bands where everyone has their feet planted and they're all staring at tablets to remember their parts. Let's please rise above that, do some preparation and look the crowd in the eyes instead. It's a crutch you'll never be free of until you commit to be free... join us on the other side, life is good!
If you're tired of showing up to practice and no one else knows the material...
If you don't want to be handed a list of songs you don't really care for...
If you're upbeat, optimistic and easy to get along with...
Hit me up. Let's build a killer show together.
