Rostrum is a band started by two former Johnson ans Wales Students. Although the band hadnt formed until Joe and John both moved to gloucester Massachusetts. Once settled into the culture of the coastal community they drew upon several sources of inspiration from the town to form their first songs. Even their band name of Rostrum which is a ramming bow of a naval ship hints influences of a maritime influence. Dont get it twisted though, Rostrum is not a bunch of sailors jumping around on wooden legs singing about swabbing the deck.
