Looking to start/join a metal band. Would like to start something along the lines of melodic or technical death metal but very open to other ideas. Above all would like to create an original sound that still has a rawness to it: harsh and crass but still intelligent, complex music that rings true.
I don't have much experience playing electric bass in a three or four piece band, but I have over seven years experience playing the upright bass classically in an orchestral setting and would like to change that. Although I imagine we would start slowly in order to build some familiarity with each others' playing styles, I would eventually like to take the band to a level where we could possibly go on tour in the future.
