I am a drummer.
Hoping to get together with other like minded musicians to see what can happen. Who knows? No illusions of grandeur. Don't want to gig every weekend, or become a thing or change the world.......just want to have fun playing good music well with like minded people.
I grew up on "classic rock", and could certainly do that, but over the years I developed a real love for jazz/Smooth jazz. I would like to be in a group that can do some old school standard jazz, some smooth jazz, and take "classic rock" and tunes from other genres and put a little funky/jazzy vibe to them. Not opposed to integrating some more sophisticated music into the mix, ala Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs, stuff like that.
My basement could be used for rehearsal/Jam.
Not into drugs. Adult beverages are fine in moderation. No hang-ups, agendas, drama, EGOS, attitudes......lets just have fun doing what we love to do!!
Looking for folks who can make a commitment to a rehearsal schedule so we can get good and tight.
If this sounds good, get in touch......
