No lessons or training whatsoever. Never once played a gig. I began my fascination with music ever since I first saw keyboard and guitars owned by family members when I was 3. Music was always something on my mind. The only thing that comes close is film. I began teaching myself piano at church when I was 14. (Wasn’t ever religious, step dad made me go. Snuck off to fool on their pianos) I convinced my parents to get me a synth setup and started making cinematic drone music on it. Eventually started thinking about rhythms. Picked up guitar. Realized the potential in tonal variety and got stuck on it. Rhythm became more important than ever. Eventually synthesized my keyboard experience, guitar experience (mostly scales and tone), and rhythm (from having to make beats to follow the weird stuff I was doing with chords and leads) and now at 24, created my own sound which I can’t describe. It’s something like psychedelic electro acoustic lofi dream pop. Emotional, light, chill, fun, vibey, trippy. No complete songs yet but it’s closer than ever but I think I need a band at this point.
