I have been a songwriter since I first picked up a guitar in 1965. I like to write in the out-of-the-box style and have had a couple of award winning songs in my career and I am getting the urge to create more of the songs that I have in my head.
Been playing in a duo for last 7 years and doing mostly covers from the 60's thru 90's along with several originals. Would enjoy playing with bassist who can sing and just get together casually in South Austin until we can get something tight enough to present in public. Until then...just for the love of it!

I like to play in the old school of folk/rock and enjoy a good harmony to go with a great hook! I like Americana and have learned new stuff and pay tribute to the old timers that have passed. Influences include Beatles, Animals, Zombies, JJ Cale, Del Shannon, Moody Blues, Ventures, Box Tops, Turtles, Greg Kihn, Jesse Colin Young, REM, Hollies, Cars, Sting, Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, Ronstadt, Van Morrison, Clapton, Winwood, et.al....
