ABOUT

Tend to play mostly heavy music. Like to play fast tempo, but love to break it down if the guitars are tasty enough. Just a normal dude, pretty chilled out. I try to be fair but voice my opinion. Don't like cockyness, I feel I know where I stand, weak and strong points. Been in a few small bands/projects, but usually have not been enthused enough to make anything of. If I was, others' partying, lack of commitment, woman troubles...etc always got in the way, very frustrating. Please avoid me if you worry too much about anything other than the music. I love heavy and a good performance, but not into the tight black jeans "look how dark we can be" image, or any "image" for that matter. Not interested in making music about Satan nor Jesus, castles, warriors, epic battles, excessive darkess, make believe, blabla etc., just something anyone could understand and appreciate in some way. Ideally looking for 5 piece band - drums, bass, guitars, vocals. Guitars - need good balance of complexity, deep slower, and melodic riffs. Not enough lead these days, but people get too groovy sometimes so little to none is ok if you can still tear it up. Bass - just a good solid player that can tie drums and guitar together. Vocals - screaming is great if its somewhat understandable to those with an ear for it, clean as well is good, just as long as it doesnt sound like the last twenty bands from the vans warped tour. Willing to wait on right vocalist and just make instrumental in meantime. Not against cover songs, usually a great way to break the ice anyway. There it is, hope I didn't offend or narrow it down to nothing, but i'd rather continue to practice alone than waste my or others' limited time pretending to enjoy something I don't. Having said that, still don't be afraid to inquire if truly interested, worst I can do is type a two letter word. The more interested I am, the further I am willing to travel as I probably live in the worst location you could pick. I'm currently looking into drum recording equipment/software and will post audio when quality is worthy.
