ABOUT

I am a multi-instrumenal musician, writer, and producer from Goose Creek (Charleston), SC. From 2008 to 2016, I was a founder, lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and chief lyricist for the Charleston alternative punk band Lizard on the Window, whose music can be found on virtually every platform. I have been playing instruments seriously since 2005, singing since 1999, writing music since 2001, and involved in the Charleston rock scene since 2006.

I'm always open to collaboration but cannot currently play live shows. I'm still seeking all musicians for jam sessions, writing, recording, and discussion about music in general.

I especially want to help musicians and bands get their material recorded and into the cloud as easily and cheaply as possible and I need clients. I can record live, track, help with artwork (AI-generated), mix, master and get your stuff on all platforms via CD Baby.

I can run my own sound, run sound for others, rent out some of my equipment (see equipment list), record full live bands as well as individuals, and I can likely meet a host of other musical needs I can't think of right now but by all means, ask.

I am not an artist connoisseur and find it difficult to discuss music in terms of known bands. I talk about music in emotional contexts. I do like loud, fun or violent, rock but also write my own electronic work ranging from poppy to dance to contemplative/meditative music. You may find it difficult to discuss influences and intentions with me via band and artist names.

I may or may not build speaker cabinets and wooden racks (they're not pretty, they get the job done).

Influences

Raised on 60's and 70's rock, 80's pop, and 90's rock, I soon branched out as an adult to include alternative influences from the 90s through into now. I've acquired a love for the unique. I am willing to work with nearly anyone but insist upon originality, creativity, and uniqueness in production. I don't suffer mean people. I am very politically vocal. I'm a lefty and it matters. If you don't wish to hear about it, keep your opinions to yourself. If you are a customer, it is unlikely your political affiliation will matter to me but I won't work with creative teams (bands or not) that I don't align with morally. Just the way it is.
