Looking to start an acoustic based alt rock band. Really just want to make music that is expressive and thoughtful. At this stage In my life i just want to write a great album. I don’t want to make 30 songs everyone has heard before with our spin on it. I want to make 10 songs that are incredibly unique and distilled down to a melody that is wrapped in music that is subtle but powerful. I am a skilled guitar player and can drive rhythm but ultimately i am best at writing lyrics and melodies. I love to sing and experiment with harmonies. I believe the best music is simple in progression yet complex in rhythm and approach. There’s a reason most classically brilliant pieces are x in y major (minor) I’m not trying to set the world on fire or tour the galaxy but rather write something really great that we can hang out hat on and inspire some people
