I have been playing both bass guitar and rhythm guitar seriously for about two years. I haven't been playing for too long but i have devoted countless hours to both instruments over the past two years. I am looking for a band in need of a bassist that is as devoted as i am, as i hope to join a band that has hopes of touring and reaching a professional level of playing shows.

Influences
Mainly punk rock, bands like the germs, circle jerks, the clash, the buzzcocks, sex pistols, joy division, scream, bad brains, operation ivy, black flag, meat puppets, bad religion, Nirvana, descendents, the ramones, minor threat, and fugazi. There are so many more that i have been influenced by as well. I also have been influenced by metal bands such as alice in chains, deftones, black sabbath,some metallica, and the melvins. I also have been influenced by some classic rock bands like led zeppelin and queen.

EQUIPMENT
I have a music man sterling sub series 4 string bass, and a 10 watt ampeg bass amp. I plan to buy a larger amp very soon. I don't really care about the quality of my gear that much, just as long as it sounds somewhat good.
