Versatile rock musician. I put friendship and fun above all else in bands and bandmates. Very easy-going (but in no way lethargic). Very dedicated when called for. Value musical flexibility and adaptability in fellow musicians, along with open, positive, and constructive communication. Though none of us will be playing Madison Square Garden anytime soon,we can still have a lot of fun while making some really cool music together. Give my tunes a listen on this page; I am singing on all and playing either drums, guitar, or all instruments on every song. Also feel free to have a look at my video (to your left) where I am singing and playing drums in front of a huge black monolith and a beautiful Asian landscape. Contact me here or on FB at Ryan Eighty-Six for more info.

Drums: Mitch Mitchell, Bonham, Copeland, Mel Taylor (Ventures), little bit of Moon the Loon, Bill Ward, Tommy Lee (persona more so than chops), W.S. Holland, Travis Barker, and a few others. I can do it all: rock, swing, surf, punk, classic metal, country, jazz, funk, Latin, blues, African, whatever--as long as there is heart, soul, and energy in it.
Vocals [Low Tenor/G2-G4]: I can be lead, lead with instrument (including drums, guitar, or punk rock triangle) or back-up harmonies--whatever is needed. Big fan of rock vocalists, esp. Rick Ocasek, Jim Morrison, Steve Miller, Glen Fry, Paul Stanley, and the dude from Boston + really respect old order country music singers and back-up vocalists. I've been the lead singer in almost every band I've been in for the past 30 years. I love to be in front of a crowd and love to get everyone in the house singing along.
Drums: Gretsch Set [my "Blue Beauties"] (lotsa drums and cymbals!!!), hand-held percussion instruments, and other stuff--trying to make Neil Peart look like a lightweight in the instruments area (though his gong is bigger than mine--doh!)
Vocals: Mike/Mike Stand/Stuff to Throw at the Audience/Cords to Wrap Around My Fist or Neck (Depending Upon My Mood)/Love, Fellowship, and Friendship for All (No Matter How Lame They May Be)/An All-Around Amazing Sense of Humor and Willingness to Smile and Laugh (Especially at My Own Jokes)
