Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar.ABOUT
Versatile rock/punk/surf/classic-metal musician. I put friendship and fun above all else in bands and bandmates. Very easy-going (but in no way lethargic). Very dedicated when called for. Value musical flexibility and adaptability in fellow musicians, along with open, positive, and constructive communication. Totally happy dude, but I have absolutely no time for stupidity/substance abuse/general drunken dipsh*tery. Though none of us will be playing Madison Square Garden anytime soon, we can still have a lot of fun while making some really cool music together. Give my tunes a listen on this page; I am singing on all and playing drums, guitar, and bass (all instruments) on most songs and one of these instruments while singing on others. Also feel free to have a look at my video (to your left) where I am singing and playing drums in front of a huge black monolith and a beautiful Asian landscape.

Influences
Drums: Mitch Mitchell, Copeland, Mel Taylor (Ventures), little bit of Moon the Loon, Bonham, Bill Ward, Ian Paice, W.S. Holland, Travis Barker, and a few others. I can do it all: rock, swing, surf, punk, classic metal, country, reggae, jazz, funk, Latin, blues, African, whatever--as long as there is heart, soul, and energy in it.
Vocals [Low Tenor/G2-G4]: I can be lead, lead with instrument (including drums, guitar, or punk rock triangle) or back-up harmonies--whatever is needed. Big fan of rock vocalists, esp. Jim Morrison, Steve Miller, Glen Fry, Paul Stanley, and the dude from Boston + really respect old order country music singers and back-up vocalists. I've been the lead singer in almost every band I've been in for the past 30 years. I love to be in front of a crowd and love to get everyone in the house singing along.
