I started playing gospel as a teenager and even opened up for 11 time Grammy winner Shirley Ceasar when I was 15. Since joining the Navy I have gigged in numerous bands bands in Virginia Beach, Naples Italy, and Washington State. I have played in top 40 cover bands, hard rock cover bands, British rock and British pub acoustic bands in Italy, as well as a Punk Rockabilly band during by 3 years there. In the San Diego area, I have gigged with wedding/corporate event bands, as well as soul, R&B and blues groups. My interested span most all types of music from folk, bluegrass, outlaw country and blues, to jazz, Motown, funk, soul, R&B, to classic rock/ pop, new wave, alternative and electronic music. I am able to play by ear and can rapidly play most anything I hear on the fly.
