I have a great feel and tone and it is what has set me apart from most sax players. Looking for gigs in and around Ventura and Los Angeles counties. I would not consider myself a "straight-ahead" Jazz player, such as Chris Potter, but I do well in soul/RnB/Smooth Jazz Groups, although I am familiar with a lot of the jazz standards - just don't expect a parker solo. I'd also like to mention I have a great ear and pick up on song's on the fly to fill in or solo on cue. I can read charts but will need a little time to familiarize with them.
