ABOUT

Relocating spring 2024; 30+ years of learning and performing in all genres. Acoustic jam bands, October Fest Oompa (yes oompa!), country, rock, metal, contemporary Christian, Theater Pit Band, combos, Big Band, aux percussion...

Seeking to do projects small or large where I may sit-in with your existing group as needed, add percussive voice, or be point to hold the groove.

I'd like to join or start a trio with lead key or guitar and bass to develop a core group to play any genre and invite other musicians in as a project might demand. Jazz standards, progressive, funk, R&B, rock, etc.

I'm available to do focused projects to lay down 3 - 7 songs, find an opportunity to be an opener, and record so you have material to market yourself. "Think Martin Miller medleys."

Influences

I've performed with most genres of all generations but can say Herbie Hancock probably influenced me most recently with a recent project but drummers like Peart, Weckle, Big Band Jazz, and the latest drummers with their funky rhythms from Snarky Puppies to Lettuce.
