ABOUT

Hello! My name's Sammy, I sing/write/play piano (not super well but I have a really good understanding of music theory so I can keep up decently well). I've been singing pretty much my whole life, I've been in choir forever, I've performed at a lot of open mic nights, and I'm DYING to be in a band. I write a lot of music, but I really only write lyrics, melodies, and chord progressions, I have a hard time coming up with good background music. I also write a lot of a Capella music for fun :)

Influences

I listen to a lot of classic rock, I love Journey, REO Speedwagon, Styx, Aerosmith, etc, plus I love 90s rock (Matchbox 20/Goo Goo Dolls/Train/3 Doors Down) and I'm comfortable singing that kind of stuff, but I write more acoustic stuff, kind of a combination of Ed Sheeran, Goo Goo Dolls, and Walker Burroughs
