Divorced from a long-term music project a couple years ago and poking my head around to see what's going on.

Drummer and modest singer. Life is busy, so something semi-casual is ideal. Open to just friendly jamming, but kinda just want to fu*k around recording stuff and see what happens.

Not necessarily looking for metal. I'm at a point where I just want to play drums to music that speaks to me.

Oh, and I'm a renaissance faire nerd who has started 3D printing armor, so naturally I just bought a mandolin to become the bard I was meant to be.

EQUIPMENT

Currently rolling with a 5-piece Tama kit that I've converted into electronic running Superior Drummer 3. It's a 9-piece total, but I've put away some over the years. Enough spare parts and such to make a second acoustic kit with little trouble.

Other than that, I have a couple small Scarlett interfaces, a pretty good mic collection (mostly all collecting dust for years), both a 6-string and 7-string guitars (semi dusty), 4- and 5-string bass (very dusty) lying around. Headphone amp setup at home as well. I build PCs, so have a solid enough machine and mostly familiar with Cakewalk.
