ABOUT

I'm a 41 year old queer NB femme (though folks generally guess I'm around 31-33-I'm pretty youthful!) who is a trained contralto vocalist (full alto, mezzosoprano, and extensive tenor range-notes C3-G5) and a proficient songwriter/lyricist. Vocalist and songwriter for Sara and the Doomsday Machine from Oct. 2019 to Oct. 2021, current vocalist for our new incarnation, Terminal Stereo-check us out! In addition to my musical ventures, I work FT as a therapist and do wildlife photography, so I balance all of this with my music. I am very heavily tattooed, (obviously) openly queer, and politically left. Terminal Stereo = a bunch of older punks/metalheads (40s-early 50s) creating original punk along the lines of the Descendents and Tsunami Bomb but with our own sound. We play out about once a month and are hoping to record an EP soon. We're currently a 4-piece but wouldn't mind having the right rhythm guitarist join us, so please reach out if you're interested in playing with us! I'm also open to doing vocals for a power metal band, as I enjoy the sort of challenging vocals one doesn't get to do in a punk band ;), so reach out if you think you might wanna rock with me!
