ABOUT
Michael J. McDaniel (born 1971) is an artist of numerous
musical interests which include Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, as well as Classical. A multi award winning saxophonist as well as an accomplished pianist and harmonica player he continues to develop his talents as an instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, and arranger.
Oringinaly from Seattle, Washington and raised in a musical family he was deeply influenced by his Mother's B-3 Organ and blues vocals, his Father's guitar skills, and most of all his Grandfather's saxophone artistry who's resume included Ellington, Dorsey, Basie, and Kelly.
Michael's interest in all genres of music has led him to perforn with many musicaly diverse tours including Cirque De Solei, Eddie Raven, Clay Walker, and Michael Powers. He has also been invited to share stages with Branford Marsalis, Kevin Sharp, Jeff Kashiwa, and Bobby "Blue" Bland among others.
After his latest release, "Midnight Sin Over Morning Coffee" Michael has not only been touring, he has also been writing and recording for his new album, "Notes For My Love".
Whether on stage, in the studio, or out and about, Michael always represents a commitment to musical excellence and a passion for music as an art form without compromise.
