Hi, thanks for reading.
I'm in an original alt-country/folk/Americana band, and we're looking for a bassist, lead guitarist, and female vocalist to complete our group.
We offer:
- Enough original songs to fill two albums, with more in the works.
- A wide-ranging sound, with many of our songs in different genres (alt-country, folk, Americana, rock, traditional country, etc.).
- A focus on original music (90% original, 10% covers).
- Previous gig experience.
- A loose, friendly dynamic with a group of guys in their 20s/30s with day jobs who are passionate about music.
- A collaborative environment where everyone has a say in shaping our songs and overall sound.
- A sprawling basement practice space on the West Side of Cincinnati, fondly code-named "the Cavern."
We're looking for someone who:
- Loves music.
- Can commit to 1 practice a week.
- Would be up for gigging locally 1-2 times a month later this year.
- Is looking to have fun while fleshing out a great set list.

Influences
Who we sound like: Uncle Tupelo, the Jayhawks, Ryan Adams, Jamestown Revival, the Lumineers, Kings of Leon, the Marshall Tucker Band, and the Band.
Other artists who've inspired us: Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Hank Williams, Sr., the Beatles, the Stones.

We also have additional 6-string & 12-string acoustics (straight-acoustic; do not plug in, but could play into a mic) available upon request. Anyone is welcome to use whatever they want outside of their own gear (except the harmonicas — that's a little gross. If you want to jam on some harp, I would bring your own).
