ABOUT

I'm a young professional looking for an outlet for my musical interests. I've been playing guitar for almost 13 years now; formal lessons I took were from a jazz perspective, but I love playing almost any type of music. I've played in several jazz bands and rock bands over the past 10 years; I also have experience with choral singing, and I sang in an a cappella group in college.

I've written songs, but right now, I'm really just focused on finding some people to jam and play with, either casually or on a gigging basis. Genres don't really matter to me - I just want to play music with other people.

A few other things:
- I learn quickly and can usually figure out licks, riffs, or chord structures on the fly
- I've got some experience with improvisational jamming
- I like using interesting rhythmic textures, timbres, and chord voicings when I can
