Hey Everyone
We are Scentric and we have some news
We are looking for a Vocalist.
You can hear samples of our music on the page (./scentric) The samples you will hear are our last vocalist and those recordings were done sometimes back. The songs we have not posted are heavier, deeper, and the ones that are have evolved a bit too.
We dont have too many "rules" to joining our group, but the ones we do have are set:
1) We would PREFER you be 21+ but special consideration will be taken if you are AT LEAST 18+, depending on the situation--ABSOLUTELY NO ONE UNDER 18
2) Get to practice! We dont really care if you have a car, take the bus, ride a bike, whatever, just be there...Practice right now is twice a week (Late Wed/Sat Afternoons/Nights) and is done at the Hot House Rehearsal Studios in Santa Fe Springs
(You dont have to worry about anything when you audition, but upon joining the band we DO split the room cost--The room DOES have a PA and Microphones, unless you wanna bring your own Mic)
3) Drinking is Ok, Smoking is ok, As long as you dont do so much of either that it affects our practice or shows. We drink/smoke too but we understand that we want this to be our life
4) Have Good Equipment. Not Saying you have to have a $2000.00 Mic or a $5000.00 PA, but we mean, Understand that we play SHOWS, and your equipment needs to be up to par to be able to play these shows, but to record as well, A lot of our shows have been in clubs, but quite a few have been house parties.
5) No drama/No Bullsh*t/No Ego's - Plain and simple. Be cool. We are super laid back and relaxed and we expect the same. We have our fun and make our jokes, but we function more like a family than a band. Sure we have little dissagrements here and there, but they get worked out quickly and easily with no love lost-Its what bands DO!
6) And Finally. We are looking for a SINGER and POWERFUL ONE! Someone that Sings AND can Scream/Growl, as we are a Melodic Metal Group. Would be great if you were pitch perfect, with good range, We need someone that holds as much talent as we do (We are not blowing our own horn, simply just want someone on our level) Have stage prescense, be able to work with suggestions from the band, and realize that we are established so songs ARE already done (including lyrics), you will need to work with the lyrical content of those and ALSO posses the skill to be able to fully write on your own, have your own ideas, know what direction you want to orchestrate a song in, and be able to Sing as Well as Scream and Growl.

We will set up a way for you to download the songs available, practice them, change what parts you see fit to changing/or re-write the whole thing, get the timings and changes down, and pick at least two songs you will be ready to demo for us and be willing to come to a practice, listen to new tracks, and demo the songs available.
