Schallkrieg, a Progressive Metal outfit based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is searching for a keyboard player. Schallkrieg's sound ranges from Blistering progressive riff work to light acoustic pieces. We currently play shows in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area and are writing / recording new material. We draw our influences from Dream Theater, Opeth, Lamb of God, Symphony X, Rush, In Flames, and many others.

We are looking for a keyboard player with experience and passion for playing progressive music. Our ideal candidate has a very high degree of technical ability, and has their own performance grade synthesizer equipment. Classical piano training is a huge plus. Ability to improvize is extremely important; ability to solo is also a huge plus. Solid grasp of classical musical theory is a MUST. If you feel that you have a solid grasp on theory, high technical ability, performance grade equipment, and can check your ego at the door, feel free to contact us for an audition / jam session with the band.

We are musicians with a passion for progressive metal and exploring music. We are all between the ages of 21 and 29, mostly through college, and deadly serious about making music a career. Our arrangements are complex, and we often change time signatures rapidly and employ polymeter. We have a very inclusive and ego-free environment, and want to keep it that way. We practice on Friday nights in Northern Kentucky, between 6 and 9 PM.
