"As heavy as a sledge-hammer" is how the mix of metal, punk, and grind elements is described by listeners. REVOLUTION is from Miami, Florida. We are currently recording our first Lp. which it is still untitled. This Album is Recorded, Mixed, Mastered, and Produced by REVOLUTION. The entire album will be done in our new home studio at the REVOLUTION STUDIO. We have limited our number of shows in order to finish the production of the album. It doesn't mean we have stopped playing, we are still playing two or three shows a month to promote the new songs. We are also looking for a label to distribute the up coming production. From the ashes of different local bands, Gery, Joel and Mr. Jhon started to jam and a song called REVOLUTION came out of it. Abe came to fill on drums, we had a very productive time, but Abe wasn't happy with the direction the band was taking. So, He had to move on (he is currently playing drums on STOMA). Finding a drummer in Miami ended up being harder than we thought. Daniel M. was our drummer for three or four live shows. There was no name for the band and there was no steady drummer. We played several shows without a Name. Well, actually we named ourselves differently every time. After a few shows, we decided to call the band like the first song that we composed. REVOLUTION was born, but still didn't have anyone to play the drums. Finally, Kevin auditioned for REVOLUTION. Within the first minute of the audition, We all knew we had found the forth member of REVOLUTION. The first official REVOLUTION show was February 28th, 2008. We have live broadcasts from "MEZZ TV" and "THE TALENT FARM". The song "Hopeless" was featured in TLP radio in Tampa Florida,in the Monday Metal show BRUTAL BACKHAND. REVOLUTION was the feature band for the Peruvian Radio Station MAXIMO VOLUMEN having the songs "Never Again" and "Death In Paradise" in heavy rotation.The song "Never Again" has been featured in the 2009 Kryptonite Allstars Compilation CD. REVOLUTION has played in Miami's most prominent venues (TOBACCO ROAD, CHURCHILLS, FLAVOUR, DRAKE's, STUDIO A, etc). We have also entered the Broward circuit playing in their most important venues (AREA 7, PULP LIVE, MUGSHOTS, OMALLEYS). We have also ventured outside town South to the Keys (PONTUNES Key Largo), REVOLUTION has played with touring bands like JIMMIE'S CHICKEN SHACK, WRETCHED, TETRARCH, STATE OF INSOMNIA, KNOW LYFE. We won the "BEST SHOW" at the STATUS-QUO AWARD CEREMONY 2008, produced by The Queen of The Scene and DJ Oski. REVOLUTION has been featured in articles in the most important written media in Miami (The MIAMI HERALD, MIAMI NEW TIMES, ARISTOCATS, MIAMI LIFE MAGAZINE, MIAMI SNAPSHOTS). Our first Ep. "Live To Fight", has art created by N.F.Romero. It was mixed by Mick Kenney (ANAAL NATHRAKH, NAPALM DEATH, DELIVERANCE). IT is on sale on ITUNES and AMAZON. We have appeared in several local CD compilations (KRYPTONITE ALL STARS 2 and 3, COLOSSAL MUSIC FESTIVAL ALLSTARS, LARGOPALOOZA, SPRING BREAK BASH 2010).
