I am starting a a surf rock/instrumental band with a drummer and bass player. The goal is a reverb-drenched guitar sound with songs that step outside the lines of traditional surf, adding prog, rock, and even jazz elements. No long jams, but some room for improvisational moments within songs that stay within about 3 minutes. The 12 songs on my music list are originals that would be part of the band's repertoire and give an idea of what I'm aiming for. As you can see, there are enough here for an album and an hour-long set, so with a little work we could hit the ground running. Age and gender mean nothing as long as you can play your instrument, and you are ready to have fun. You can wear a cape, spandex pants, or goth makeup, it's all about the music.

I'm an experienced guitar player been in many, many bands and I'm still going.

Chuck Berry to John 5 and nearly everyone in between. SRV, Dick Dale, Gibbons, Belew, Gallagher, Richards, Albert Lee, Sonny Landreth, Johnny Winter, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Hendrix, on and on. I like many types of music but I've always been inspired by the guys who can play well.
