Band to Join.

PLEASE - A skilled musician looking for other skilled musicians. Are there none out there!

I'm looking to either join or form a classic rock band playing music from the 70s, 80s and early 90s. I would like to play music that was popular, but not the same classic stuff everyone else is doing i.e. Mustang Sally, Surrender, You Got Another Thing Coming, Play That Funky Music, Anything Tom Petty or 15 Led Zeppelin tunes. Some standards are of course fine but prefer the tunes well know but not worn out. I have a set list started but nothings set in stone.
She’s so Cold - Stones
One Thing Leads to Another - the Fixx
Don’t You Forget About Me - Simple Minds
Something About You - Level 42
And She Was - Talking Heads
Can’t Smile without You - Sean Beal (Find on U Tube - Excellent!)
Check it Out - Mellencamp
Rumbleseat - Mellencamp
Good Girls Don’t - Knack
Don’t talk to strangers - Rick Springfield
The one I Love - REM
Losing My Religion - REM
Logical Song - Supertramp
Goodbye Stranger - Supertramp
Breakfast in America - Supertramp
Video Killed the Radio Star - the Buggles
Don’t Forget me (When I’m Gone) - Glass Tiger
Fight Fire with Fire - Kansas
It’s My life - No Doubt / Talk Talk
Yesterdays Girl - Smithereems
Say it Isn’t So - the Outfield
I Just Died in your Arms - Cutting Crew
Wham Bam Shang -a Lang - Silver
Hysteria - Def Leppard

Vocals have to be there. No matter how good the music sounds, if the vocals aren't there, the band sucks. And when I say vocal I mean lead and harmonies.
My main instrument is Bass. I play keys and guitar as well. I have all the equipment necessary to play out live in any venue. Besides making great music I want have a blast! An normally those two go together!
Thanks for checking out my listing... So let's rock!

About my demos - Each of three songs were run through a high pass filter to remove the bass. I then played my bass line over the top in Sonar. All rights reserved to the original artists and being used solely as a demonstration.

Kiss, Rush, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Cheap Trick, Billy Sheehan. I hate to admit this but I'm not a fan, at all, of Led Zepplin; Hendrix, or almost any kind of blues or most southern rock.
Yes, even with these influences, I do like a bit of country!
