Scott Taylor is a unique songwriter, singer and guitarist from Sacramento, CA, who has a strong voice and a dynamic songwriting style. He is an accomplished guitarist and has studied recording and worked with several studios. He has focused on writing the music for his first CD during the past year and a half in his own local studio. You might find it interesting that Scott is related to the late Georgie Stoll, who won an Academy Award in 1945 for the music score in "Anchors Away", along with 9 other nominations. Music does run in the family.

Scott has showcased both acoustically unplugged and with his band with phenomenal response. His music has been played on local radio stations and the band has just recently been seen on a local TV Station in the Sacramento area.

Recording basic tracks began in San Francisco at Historical "Hyde Street Studios", with Engineer Gabriel Shephard who has an impressive set of credits such as Chris Isaak, George Clinton, the last two Cake records and Guitar Legend Jim Campilongo.

Scott then began working in LA at "The OR", with Producer Matt Borden, who has worked with artists such as Anyone, Steven Perkins (Ban Yan, Jane's Addiction),
Linkin Park, F.I.L.T.H.E.E. Immigrants, and T-Lo.

Final mixing was done at Paramount Studio's in Hollywood, Ca., with Producer Daryl "D" Style Swan, who has worked Artists such as Macie Gray.

Scott says "Everyone worked very hard to get the CD done, we feel lucky to have worked with such great people."
