Now I Can See
Now I Can See Genre: Alternative
Daydream, Whatever Year: 2014 Genre: Alternative
Stone Broke Year: 2013 Genre: Alternative
This song features my vocal stylings...The lyrics were inspired by a real life missed connection I had with a girl at the local 7-11.
I Stay Home
I Stay Home Year: 2012 Genre: Alternative
This version of the song "I Stay Home" features student, model, & part-time aspiring "demo" singer Audrey Kennedy on vocals... The song was originally written with an agressive rock/keyboard progression. When I started collabnorating with Audrey, I decided to produce a softened out R&B/Alternative sounding version more suited to her vocal stylings.
My Situation Year: 2004 Genre: Electronic
This song showcases my electronic keyboard programming ability... The song structure features a classic "middle eight" a la The Beatles along with some 3-part harmony. This song was originally written as a poem given to me by a close (married) friend after sharing forbidden, innocuous intimacies. Her words so inspired me, that I wrote & produced this song.
The Way It Goes
The Way It Goes Track number: 1 Year: 2004 Genre: Other
This song was written after spending an evening with a "married" friend at a CD release party at night club in San Francisco... The party was over and we started on the long, two hour drive back home. During that time we got to know each quite other intimately; very close. When we finally arrived at my home, I invited her in, sat her down next to me at my piano, and I just started playing. I can't describe it, the music came out of nowhere. I had no idea what I was playing; I was just improvising a completely new original song right there, from thin air. "The Way It Goes," created from pure inspiration...
