I have been gigging and recording in San Diego with various projects for the last 20+ years. I'm currently the bassist in pop punk nerdcore outfit Kitty Plague, but that's always been considered my *side* passion project...a very good time that I have with very good friends who also happen to be superlative musicians. My main focus has always been on projects that are more psychedelic and progressive...from Idiot Wind to Variable to Fractophone to Hot Mustard, I've always gravitated towards bands that wrote slightly aggressive, yet often times ethereal, but always trippy song structures over odd time signatures and poly rhythms.
Hot Mustard went our separate ways just prior to the pandemic putting an end to live music. So I've been holed up over the last ~18 months writing and recording an astronomical amount of material for a new alt-psychedelic-prog rock project. I'm currently going to find musicians to get it off the ground. I'm working with another multi-instrumentalist (guitars and keys) and we're hoping to find a drummer as soon as humanly possible to see which direction the material might go as it's taking shape.

Too many basses with too many strings for just an enthusiast, a vintage amplifier that's older than me, and probably weighs more than me, and enough analog effects pedals and synths to make the whole thing purr.
