******UPDATE 9/6/19: I am currently putting music on the back burner as I am occupied with a new job and my second-to-last semester at UNLV. My hope is to get settled into things, save up money, and eventually start taking lessons online to become a vocalist (clean and unclean). If you're still interested in talking about future projects, know anything about vocals or metal music production, or overall interested in the type of genres my influences would fall under, feel free to send me an email. I just can't put any major commitment into any projects at the moment.

Hello, my name is Sean and I'm currently about to enter my final year at school at UNLV. I've been away from the music scene a while but now want to give it another shot. I played drums from 5th-11th grade and played more classic rock or punk bands like AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Green Day, Rush, Aerosmith, The Offspring, Def Leppard, etc. As such, I never learned how to use a double pedal. It's been almost 4-5 years since I last drummed on a regular basis, but now I have had a strong desire to give it another shot but this time with metalcore. I want to possibly form a metalcore band that also has a bit of electronic, acoustic, cinematic orchestra (similar to Starset), possibly rap, and a possible Christian touch to it (although that's not all I would want to write about if I did write some Christian themed songs). I'm not opposed, however, into seeing if there are other touches we can add to make music that sounds unique yet awesome. If that sounds awesome, I'm looking for musicians close to the UNLV area that share the same sort of vision and can help make it come to life. No need for extreme commitment per say, but I do want to see how far I can go with it. I'm not specifically looking for experience, just vision and the desire to create it. With that said, vocalists must be able to scream. Musicians must also be at least 18; I would prefer to stick to the 18-late 20s range but I don't mind working with people older than 30. I don't have a kit at the moment and will have to learn to use the double pedal so I'm also looking for someone that also has a drum kit I can practice on. Feel free to email me if this sounds interesting!
