ABOUT

Hello. My name is Sebastian and I am 22. I have been in musical theatre for about ten years but always had a love for music beyond theatrical performances. I am very creative and I have been writing for many years. First starting with plays, that merged into poems, that have merged in songs. I am building up a collection of lyrics and melodies that I really want to further develop with musicians and other vocalists. I have been using the website Jam Studio to develop chord progressions and melodies but given it's robotic template I am very eager to work with other artists to give it personality and depth. I am familiar with playing Keyboard and with enough practice I could get better. What I don't have in instrument versatility I make up for with strong unique vocals and a creative mind. I'm not even sure where to start, but if we sound on the same page. Please don't hesitate to message me. I would also really enjoy some female harmony or a duet feel to the music.

Influences

I think it is important for you to know what I enjoy writing about rather then influences. I want to write and perform originals and prefer not to be like someone else. Here is just a few lyrics from a few of my songs, "How fate turns the key it's never quite clear to me", "Like a broken disc I must like repeat, when it comes to love I must hate defeat", "Know by now it doesn't matter what you say because I fell in love with the way you made me", "Remember that night. Remember the way I was feeling. Into my head. Here you stay like a movie." I enjoy writing about past love, dreams, night time in general, current problems. I enjoy lyrics from Regina Spektor, James Blunt, Adele and Annie Lenox.
