I'm an moderate level musician, I can't read music but I know chords and can do some simple leads on guitar, and simple fills on bass. I am an OK singer, but I think I'm a pretty decent songwriter. I enjoy lots of different styles, but mostly loves the Punk and New Wave. I have been in a few bands, ranging from a Goth/Post-Punk-style band that did originals and covers of Joy Division, Gang Of Four, Velvet Underground, Bauhaus, an original Alternative band that was a bit of a Spy movie/Surf/Punk/Power Pop/New Wave mash-up and recently a Punk /Hard Rock Parody band with funny/crass lyrics (see video)

When I return to San Antonio, I want to start a new project that has Power Pop, Glam, and Old Skool Punk influences with funny 70's and 80's pop culture references--(lava lamps, blacklight posters, sans-a-belt trousers, cheezy cartoons, movies, etc.)--I want to call the band "The Herculon Pit Group"
I have several original songs,a few rough ideas, and a will to have fun--anyone up for it???
