Escribir la historia de Servando Ramos en pocas líneas es quitarle merito a lo que lo ha traído a “VAMOS AL 100” titulo de su más reciente producción.

Con un conocimiento musical extenso, herencia musical de su padre Don David Ramos quien tocara batería con el grupo de Los Vengadores De China Nuevo Leon, Servando Ramos saca al mercado una producción con un giro musical apegado a sus raíces Norteñas.

Desde muy pequeño Servando Ramos demostró su inclinación por la música, y recuerda pasar sus fines de semana en la sala escuchando y viendo bailar a sus abuelos. “La música siempre estuvo presente en mi casa era parte de las reuniones y ahí en la sala aprendí a tocar la batería… me divertía, después forme parte de la banda de mi escuela y lo que fuera hobby empezó a hacerse obsesión (de la buena). Empecé a ir con mi familia a las tocadas que salían y eso me desarrollo el oído musical aún más para aprender otros instrumentos y más tarde involucrarme en las grabaciones, otra de mis grandes pasiones” comentó Servando Ramos líder de la agrupación “Servando Ramos y los Nuevos Leones”.

Esta historia se empezó a escribir hace casi 16 años, fogueándose con grupos como: La Traizión, Grupo Fiel, Lisa Y Aventura, y más tarde La Fiebre. Sus influencias musicales fueron como todo amante del acordeón: Ramón Ayala, Albert Zamora, y Mingo Saldívar.

Servando Ramos ofrece la experiencia adquirida con un toque de espontaneidad a la hora de estar en el escenario. Afamado entre la comunidad musical de Houston formo su grupo Servando Ramos y los Texas Outlaws, grabando dos CD en su propio estudio, con ese Grupo Servando logro ser nominado Best new Artist (Male), Best new Artist (Group) Mas prometido Artista 2011 y Mas Prometido Grupo 2011.

Su hambre de seguir creciendo y rosarse con los grandes logra conjuntar su talento junto a otro grupo de músicos para formar SERVANDO RAMOS Y LOS NUEVOS LEONES, los integrantes: Servando Ramos en el Acordeón y segunda voz, Jerry González en el Bajo Sexto y Primera Voz, Charlie Huitron en la Batería, Enrique Salas de Bajo Electrico , y Ali Turibiates en las Percusiones.

La espera ha valido la pena, la selección de material fué extensa porque queremos demostrar nuestra seriedad en este negocio y el respeto al público. “VAMOS AL 100” fue producido por el mismo Servando Ramos y se conforma de 10 temas una mezcla de los sonidos con los cuales se sienten más identificados:

El 2012 es su momento ya que gracias a la amistad que los une contaron con el maestro Luis Mario Padilla de Los Cachorros de Nuevo León en la batería como músico invitado.

El primer sencillo “TE VAS DE MI” se lanzará al mercado a principios de Noviembre y para la promoción ya se está preparando la gira de radio así como la Premier del video.

To write Servando Ramos’ history in just a few lines is to take merit away from what has brought him to “VAMOS AL 100”, which is the title to his most recent production.
With his extensive knowledge of music, Servando Ramos introduces his new production with a musical spin derived from his “Norteño” music roots.
Servando Ramos demonstrated his musical inclination since his early years as a child. He fondly recalls spending his weekends at home, listening to music in the living room while watching his grandparents dance. “Music was always present in my home. It was always part of our reunions. It was in that very living room that I learned to play the drums… I had fun. Later I formed part of my school band and what started off as a hobby, turned into an obsession… the good kind! I started going with my family to different music events, which helped develop my ear for music even further, which later helped me learn other instruments allowing me then to become involved in musical recordings, another of my greatest passions!” commented Servando Ramos, leader of the group “Servando Ramos Y Los Nuevos Leones”.
This story started to write itself almost 16 years ago, forging itself through his association with groups such as; La Traizion, Grupo Fiel, Lisa Y Aventura, and La Fiebre. As most accordion lovers, his musical influence came from Ramon Ayala, Albert Zamora, and Mingo Saldivar.
Servando Ramos offers an acquired experience plus a touch of spontaneity when he is on stage. Well known within Houston’s music community, he formed the group named “Servando Ramos Y Los Texas Outlaws”, whom which he recorded two CDs in his own studio. With this group Servando was nominated for Best New Artist (male), Best New Artist (group), Most Promising Artist 2011, and Most Promising Group 2011. At the Tejano Music Awards.
His hunger to continue growing and rub elbows with the great ones has now brought him to combine his talent with another group of musicians to form “SERVANDO RAMOS Y LOS NUEVOS LEONES”, consisting of Servando Ramos on accordion and second voice, Jerry Gonzales playing bajo sexto (sixth bass) and first voice, Charlie Huitron on drums, Enrique Salas on electric bass, and Ali Turibiates with percussions.
The wait has been worth it. The selection of our material was extensive because we want to demonstrate just how serious we are in this business and our respect to the public. “VAMOS AL 100” was produced by Servando Ramos and Jeremiah Gonzales. It is compiled of 10 arrangements where they choose and mix the sounds which the entire group identifies with the most:

2013 is definitely their time, being that thanks to the friendship that bonds them, they now count on the great Luis Mario Padilla from “Los Cachorros De Nuevo Leon” playing the drums as a musical guest.
Their first single “TE VAS DE MI” will be released at the beginning of March for which a radio tour and the video premier are being prepared for its promotion.
